My Nature Awareness Poem

Save the Earth
"Slow Me Down" by Emmy Rossum
Revised lyrics by Geraldine Repolidon

I.
The trees and the flowers are growing together
The doves and the eagles are free to fly
Rushing of fresh waters into the ocean
How does it feel?
The heat of the sun striking is full of warmth
The breeze of the air that we breathe is sufficient
Try to appear like we’ve got it together
But now, what’s going on?
Save them
Somebody’s brave enough to lead them

Chorus:
Save the Earth
Don’t let the nature die
Just show them how
‘Cause I’m ready to help
Save the Earth
Don’t live with selfishness
Before their lives fly by
I need you to Save the Earth

II.
Sometimes I fear that they might disappear
From this fast forward world, I falter again
Forgetting to breathe, we need to clean
We are getting nowhere
All that I’ve missed I see in the reflection
The beauty of nature wasn’t given attention
They’re tired of rushing, racing and running
They’re falling apart
Tell them
Oh tell them all that you care and save them
(Repeat Chorus)

Coda:
Just show them
Save them now, save them now
The noise of the world didn’t hear their calling
Wake up and listen before it’s too late
Just need a help, somebody please
Save the Earth

1 komento:

  1. I really like this song of Emmy Rossum 'cause it is so soft...I like it more when i revised the lyrics into a more informative and sensitive.....
